Walks around Trefor

With views that are a feast for the eyes

Tre'r Ceiri iron age hillfort

This is 3 mile walk with a 1,400 foot climb. So about 2 hours there and 1.5 hours back. If this is what you are used to then it is well worth it for the views and to feel how people lived here almost 2,500 years ago. Take plenty of water and a snack for your well-deserved rest at the top..

A lovely gentle circular walk around the coast

A fabulous local walk taking about an hour with no major climbs, just a simple walk either way to one of the local beaches and following the gently undulating coastal path along the cliffs.

Pub walk from the cottage

Please only do this route in daylight hours as it involves a moderate climb through the pass between two of the Yr Eifl hills. I'd allow an hour for it. But the views from the pub are lovely and it serves decent local ale. Also it is the first community pub in the UK.
