It is a bit challenging but well worth it. This is one of the three large hills overlooking Trefor as part of the small range called &#8220;The Three Rivals&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There are a good range of public footpaths around the village and up and over these hills and this is one of the best routes. 3.1 miles up to the top of Tre&#8217;r Ceiri with it&#8217;s amazing iron age hill fort and the stupendous 360 degree views from the top.<\/p>\n<p>The top of Tre&#8217;r Ceiri is 485 m which represents a climb of 455m from the cottage or 1400 feet in old money.<\/p>\n<p>So you know you&#8217;ve had a walk, but the views just get better and better all the way up. Just don&#8217;t do what I did and think you could make your own path down..
